Description
Peterborough Limited are recruiting a Permanent, MOT Tester/Taxi Inspector to work full time (42 hours per week), based in Peterborough.
We are looking for a new MOT Tester/Taxi Inspector to carry out MOT tests on class 4,5 & 7 type vehicles along with carrying out Inspection Tests on private and Hackney carriage Taxi vehicles.
Based in Peterborough, this is a full-time role with a competitive salary up to £33,000 per annum. What does the role involve?
- Ensuring that all tooling and equipment used complies with current legislation and certification.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the MOT bay and its equipment on an ongoing basis.
- Ability to interact with our customers effectively.
- To carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and input details on the DVSA computer system.
What are we looking for?
- MOT testing experience with an OPTL.
- Educated to City and Guilds or NVQ Levels as appropriate.
- Hold a valid MOT licence
- A full UK driving Licence
- Basic computer literacy skills.
- Experience of working in a team.
