Location: Watergall Children and Family Centre, Watergall, Bretton PE3 8NX.

We are looking for a committed, motivated, and enthusiastic, Early Years Educator to join our team at Bretton Community Preschool.

Our vision is to create a fun, stimulating, caring environment, where children and adults are happy and can develop and learn together. We provide childcare for children aged 2 - 5 years, during term time.

We are looking for someone who:

~ Is passionate about helping develop children in Early years

~ Have a good working knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

~ Has recent experience of working in Early Years.

~ Holds a full and relevant Early years qualification in Childcare at Level 3.

~ Works well as part of a team.

Duties will include -

• Supporting children’s development through an appropriate level of play and learning
• Caring for all children’s needs
• Assisting in the daily running of the setting
• Establishing good working relationships with parents/carers/colleagues
• Maintaining the environment
• Be aware of any special needs a child may have
• Attending staff meetings
• Keeping up to date with current good practices
• Helping to keep children safe and adhering to our safeguarding measures.

Interviews to take place week commencing Wednesday 5th November 2025

All Successful applicants will need to undertake an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) and provide two satisfactory references prior to their employment.

Visits to the setting are encouraged before applying.
