Join Our Team as an Office Administration Assistant in a busy metal fabrication company.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and organised Administration Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our workshop and providing excellent service to both colleagues and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
- Maintaining accurate records and filing systems
- Assisting in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documents
- Researching the best offers available when renewing contracts, leases and policies for the company
- Providing cover for the production administration assistant
- Assisting with Human Resources and Health and Safety administration
- Supporting administration for the Sales team
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role is desirable
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Experience in using production software ‘Lantek’ would be useful but not essential as training will be given
- Knowledge of ‘Xero’ accounting system also useful but not essential
