At the DeliChef we are look for a cook and a Food Sales Van Driver .

There are 2 shifts available one is our early morning shift and the other from 9 to 1pm. You will be working Monday to Friday.

FOR THE COOK POSITION

You will be fast paced, a team player, friendly and helpful.

Responsibilities:

• You will be preparing everything required by our drivers to sell on our mobile catering vans.
• Ensure the food is to the highest standard
• Ensure the kitchen and service area are always clean, well-presented, and well-stocked
• Offer a warm and friendly service
• Ensure COSHH, Food Safety, and Health & Safety are followed

FOR THE RELIEVE SALES VAN DRIVER

The successful candidate will join a small friendly team that operates a fleet of mobile food retail vehicles servicing business parks and industrial estates across the Peterborough area.
This is a relieve van driver position meaning you will be replacing the drivers when they are on holiday and the rest of the time you will be joining the catering team for food preparation and deliveries.

Responsibilities:

Van sales are not pre-orders so the ability to sell (not just drive & deliver) is absolutely essential

Delivering quality hot and cold food to work places on a specific round of calls.
Identifying opportunities for growth on the round.
Increasing daily revenue in line with agreed financial targets.
Building a strong rapport with customers, offering excellent customer service always.
Working closely with the rounds coordinator towards the success of your round.
Ensuring your mobile unit looks immaculate and that you too are always presented to the highest standards.
